Wheelchair and Transfer Requirements
Can MMI accommodate patients who use a wheelchair? Can MMI staff lift or transfer me onto the examination table?

Patients who use a wheelchair may need to transfer onto an examination table depending on the imaging examination being performed.
MMI does not have lifting equipment for patient transfers.
2. What You Need to Know
Patients must be able to transfer independently or with assistance from a family member or support person when a transfer is required.
Our staff cannot perform heavy patient transfers.
